Very handy tool for removing ticks. Much easier to work around a tick through hair than tweezers. And, doesn't slip off. Works great.

If you have ticks buy these! After struggling with tick tweezers that never seemed to work well and always left the head behind I purchased these. My daughter (4) has already had two ticks this year in the Northeast, and this has removed them flawlessly without a fight from her because it was so easy. If you're on the dense buy them, you won't regret it. It's as simple as scoop the tick and twist.

Easiest tick removal ever, hands down - and NO hint of any left behind mouth parts - the whole tick just twists right off without any effort, right on the spot. I keep several of these around - at the house, in my hiking pack, in my truck. I don't go out in nature during tick season without one now. Great purchase.

After picking up a couple ticks while doing yard work, and posting the pics on social media, I had multiple people post videos for this product. Reluctantly, I thought I'd try it. The day it arrived, I found a tick on my dog. I pulled out the smaller one, but the tick was so engorged it didn't fit right -- so switched to the bigger one (how handy they include two sizes!!)

I live in a wooded area in the south. We have ticks everywhere. I've pulled ticks off people and tons of our many dogs. In the past, pulling a tick off the dogs was a huge task, usually involving two people (one to hold the dog down and one to grasp the tick to remove correctly). I did not have much success in always removing the head, therefore causing more danger to my pets.
With this product, it takes me about 10 seconds to remove a tick. I no longer need the help of another person because by the time my dog realizing I'm not just petting him, the tick is gone. It always removed the head as well and comes out alive. This is a great product to have a couple, just in case you lose one because they are small. I would also buy this as a gift for anyone that has a tick problem.

This tool is perfect. I'm surprised how easy it makes tick removal. I have a terrier with a double coat and have no problems getting to the tick with this thing. I keep ziplock bags and rubbing alcohol handy. I pour alcohol on the stick, slosh some on a tissue or tp to dab the parasite with, and pour some into the ziplock bag, or coffin. The stick apparently makes contact with the head of the tick, not the body, so it removes the whole thing. Then I slosh some more on the stick after, and rinse. No contact with tick, so much easier.
